Two Canadians have made the list of best poetry collections by the New York Times Book Review. Toronto’s Richard Sanger is featured for his book “Dark Woods,” in which he reflects on the Canadian landscape of his childhood and its place in a digital world.

Amanda Jernigan of New Brunswick received a nod for “Years, Months, and Days,” an adaptation of Mennonite hymns originally published in German in the early 19th century.
