A program that offers free music lessons to students in the Greater Toronto Area has become so popular, there’s a waiting list.  The Hammer Band has been running for over a decade reaching over 5,000 students in 40 public schools across the GTA and it’s expanding.

Founder Moshe Hammer says teachers and parents see the results of his program that’s aimed at students from less prosperous Toronto neighbourhoods.

“Our Hammer Band kids are happier, more engaged with school and with each other and proud of their accomplishments,” says Hammer.  He’s asking for support to keep the program going. For more information at click here
