Hundreds of Canadians are about to learn a lot more about D-Day. The Juno Beach Centre Association is set to mail postcards to the addresses that soldiers who died in the D-Day campaign listed on the papers they signed when they joined the armed forces.
The postcards will contain information about the soldier who enlisted from that address, and basic family information, military rank and the date of death. It will be an emotional reminder of some painful Canadian history.
