Anthony Bourdain’s alma mater will remember him with a scholarship.
The Culinary Institute of America will give money each year to students who study abroad because travel was such a part of Bourdain’s life. A memorial will also be unveiled this fall on the school’s Hyde Park campus in New York. The culinary institute also has campuses in California, Texas and Singapore. The famous chef and TV personality died last June, two weeks shy of his 62nd birthday. One of Bourdain’s closest friends said the beloved celebrity chef should be celebrated on his birthday, June 25th and NOT the date he died, June 8th.
