Toronto’s newest immersive art experience is now open on Queen West featuring themed rooms created by local musicians and artists.

Enter this magical whimsical Funhouse by squeezing through the Narnia closet, an old wardrobe full of clothing. The other entrance is an elevator that leads to the doors to nowhere. Thirty artists backed by a team of 75 tech, light and building experts are behind this one of a kind of museum on three floors of a former Buddhist Temple. Funhouse co founder David Fradkin says visitors explore themed rooms everything from the Alice in Wonderland inspired rabbit hold staircase to a creepy dining room that transforms into a nightmare when you sit down. But the wow factor in this immersive art experience is an app that literally brings the art work to life on your phone. Simply point your camera at the art and it becomes animated.

But curiosity is key when you tour this magical space to find the smallest art hidden within the this expansive house to the larger pieces like a giant elephant that lights up with floral imagery when you touch it. The Funhouse is definitly interactive. For information, visit
