LONGTIME HOST OF 'INSIDE THE ACTORS STUDIO' DIES AT 98

Inside the Actors Studio host and veteran TV writer James Lipton has died.

The 93-year-old passed away peacefully at his New York City home from bladder cancer. James interviewed actors, big and small, on his famous talk show including one famous graduate of Pace University in NYC, where Lipton served as dean for many years. Award-winning actor

Bradley Cooper graduated from the drama school at Pace University and Lipton said interviewing the 2000 graduate was the highlight of his famous talk show. It was filmed in front of a live audience full of student actors, some of whom got a chance to ask questions from time to time. Lipton retired in 2018 after 22 seasons.The program continues to this day with other hosts.
