The city of Toronto has announced how residents can virtually experience the cherry blossoms during closure of High Park due to physical distancing rules.
With the peak bloom period about to begin, the city is closing the park starting Thursday but you can still enjoy the spring flowers online on the city’s social media channels including its website here
The city will provide a livestream of the cherry tree grove in High Park with a 24-hour Bloom Cam that’s available now, plus multiple live events and videos featuring virtual walk-throughs of the blossoming Sakura trees.
If you’re caught trespassing in the park, expect of fine anywhere from $750 to $5,000.
