You won’t be sitting in a theatre for this year’s Toronto Hot Docs festival. Instead, organizers have moved the program online due to physical distancing rules amid the pandemic. The festival’s 10-day online version kicks off May 28th.
It will feature more than 135 films that were originally intended to screen in theatres. The online streaming version is available to Ontario residents only and tickets are being offered at a lower price. Audiences will be able to watch doc premieres and enjoy pre-recorded filmmaker Q & A’s. For more information, visit
