100-YEAR OLD WWII VETERAN TO BE KNIGHTED

He raised $40-million pounds for Britain’s National Health Service, was promoted from Captain to Colonel and now will be made a Knight of the Realm. Sir Tom Moore told the BBC, he is absolutely overwhelmed. “I certainly feel that I’ve been given a really outstanding order by the Queen and the Prime Minister,” said Moore. “I’m certainly delighted.”

The  World War Two veteran raised the money by walking up and down his garden 100 times before his 100th birthday last month. Sir Tom also took time this morning to recognize Britain’s front line heroes of the National Health Service who put their lives at risk everyday. and pledged to remain in service to the Queen, the Prime Minister and the great British public.
