Canadian Stage has unveiled a pandemic-friendly fall lineup featuring a mix of digital, outdoor and interactive events.
The Toronto theatre company will present the hybrid set of performances that includes pay-what-you-can outdoor dance performances in High Park over three weekends starting September 26th.
Artistic Director Brendan Healy was a guest on The Oasis on the New Classical Fm and told host Mark Wigmore, the season works with three themes: Invest, Explore and Engage.
“The engage part of the next few months is really about the public facing public elements of our work so we’re going to have outdoor performances, digital performances, we’ll have performances over the phone, it’s a real myriad of experiences,” said Healy.
The not-for-profit is also launching new subscription program to allow patrons to contribute to Canadian Stage’s efforts to support artists during the COVID-19 crisis. For more information, visit
