Nuit Blanche Toronto has revealed plans for a virtual event that will be spread out over ten days.

The free one-night art celebration will be split into five online streams beginning this Saturday until October 12 and will include talks, podcasts, livestreams, and artworks in augmented and virtual reality.
Nuit Blanche started in Paris in 2002 and usually sees visitors enjoying contemporary art installations spread throughout the city from dusk to dawn.
Canada has several versions of the art festival including one in Montreal held at the end of February, and one in Regina that took place late last month with COVID-19 guidelines.
Winnipeg’s fall version of Nuit Blanche will be rescheduled, and Saskatoon has cancelled its event.
