The New York Philharmonic has reached a four year contract with its musicians that’s hoped will allow the orchestra to survive the pandemic.

The orchestra retains wage cuts throughout the entire deal which calls for players to earn just over $2,200 dollars a week for the first three years, with increases the following year.

The orchestra lost more than $10-million in the shortened spring season and is projecting loses of another $21 million in missed ticket revenue this season.
