PROVINCE REVEALS DATES AND LOCATIONS FOR FIRST ONTARIO VACCINES

COVID-19 vaccinations will start being administered on Tuesday at hospitals in Toronto and Ottawa.

University Health Network in Toronto and the Ottawa Hospital will be the first sites to receive and administer the shots.

Premier Doug Ford He says health-care workers in long-term care homes and other high-risk settings will receive the vaccines.

Ford says the province expects to receive “a very small number” of doses but did not provide an exact figure. More details on the roll-out of these initial vaccines will be released Friday.

The province set another record Thursday, reporting 1,983  infections as new modelling will be released later in the afternoon.
