WHAT'S OPEN AND CLOSED DURING CHRISTMAS LOCKDOWN

While many businesses remain closed in Toronto brought on by rising COVID-19 cases, there are a few essential services that remain open.

Some businesses will  operate on reduced hours over the Christmas holidays or close altogether. The TTC will operate on the Sunday schedule Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and holiday service on Boxing Day. Banks and government offices are closed from Christmas Day until the 28th and again New Year’s Day. Canada Post offices are closed on Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Liquor stores are closed Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day and Beer Stores close Christmas and New Year’s Day, but some select stores will open 11- 5 Boxing Day. Most grocery stores will be closed on Christmas and New Years Day. Most stores that provide essential services will close Christmas Day and New Year’s Day but are expected to reopen Boxing Day. All attractions in Toronto, Peel, and York locked down
