Are you tired of hearing terms like COVID-19, social distancing and more? You’re not alone.
A number of terms and phrases associated with the virus top a Michigan University’s annual list of banned words for the new year. Of more than 1,450 nominations at Lake Superior State University, about 250 had something to do with the virus, including Social Distancing, We’re All In This Together, and In These Uncertain Times. The word Unprecedented, which was banished in 2002, has been restored to the school’s light-hearted list as well.
