Canadian music legend Neil Young has become the latest artist to not only mine for a heart of gold, but actually hit the mother lode.
The 75-year old, Toronto-born singer songwriter has sold half his song catalog to the British investment company “The Hipgnosis Songs Fund.”
Young’s entire catalogue spans some 1,200 songs.
Terms were not disclosed but the deal comes just a month after Bob Dylan sold his songbook for between $300 million and $500 million.
