Fans of the Fab Four will be pleased to hear, there is a new documentary coming about the recording studio where the lads from Liverpool recorded 190 of their 210 songs.

Abbey Road Studios will be the subject of a new feature-length documentary from Paul McCartney’s daughter, director Mary McCartney.

The film is called “If These Walls Could Sing” and marks the first time Abbey Road has opened its doors to a feature documentary.  It’s to become the centrepiece of the legendary studio’s 90th anniversary celebrations, which kick off in November.

Abbey Road Studios opened in 1931 and over the years has earned a reputation for groundbreaking recording technology.  It was initially used for classical recordings, then jazz, big band music and rock and roll.
