JK ROWLING'S LITERARY AGENT DIES

He was a struggling literary agent, who took a chance on an unpublished, unemployed and unknown writer from England and went on to build an empire around a boy wizard.

Literary agent Christopher Little, who turned JK Rowling’s tales of Harry Potter into the most lucrative literary franchise in history has died.

In addition to launching J.K. Rowling’s career, he was the architect of the entertainment powerhouse that grew up around the Harry Potter books, which included movies, stage plays and merchandise.

Little’s death, was announced by his London firm, the Christopher Little Literary Agency.

The cause was cancer.

Christopher Little was 79.
