We have the results of one of those occasional and interesting studies out of England, this one about the most motivational song of all time.

Top of the table, a 1979 Anthem from the British band “Queen.”

The study found it was the tune most likely to put Brits in a good mood.

In second place, another hit, this one about a Queen.

Also the list: Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and “Good Vibrations” by the Beach Boys.

Nine out of 10 people surveyed said music played an important part in their lives and more than eight in 10 said it was vital for both their physical and mental well being.

The survey of some 2,000 adults, found, on average, Brits listen to 11 hours of music a week.
