HEALTH CANADA APPROVES SINGLE-SHOT JOHNSON & JOHNSON COVID-19 VACCINE

Canada has a fourth COVID-19 vaccine as the single-shot Johnson & Johnson product has been approved by Health Canada.
The country’s pre-purchased 10-million doses which are to expected to start arriving in this quarter (March-May) with all expected be delivered by the end of September.
Canada also has options to buy another 28-million doses from Johnson & Johnson.
Meanwhile, Pfizer now says it will speed up delivery of shipments.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says 1.5-million additional doses are coming this month with another one-million coming ahead of schedule in both April and May.
Trudeau adds that means there will be 8-million total doses of COVID-19 vaccines by the end of this month.
