For Zoomer’s who’ve always wondered who is that woman in the red dress with Bob Dylan on the album cover for “Bring It All Back Home,” we have the answer.

And no, it wasn’t Dylan in drag, representing the feminine side of his psyche, as rumour had it.

It was in fact Sally Grossman, the wife of Albert Grossman, Dylan’s Manager at the time, in a picture taken at her home in Woodstock New York.

Sally Grossman has died.

She had long been a fixture in Woodstock, operating a recording studio, a theatre and other businesses after her husband died in 1986.

Cause of death has yet to be released.

Sally Grossman was 81.
