Ontario families can plan their spring break for next month.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce says the government will let families know ”well in advance” if that changes.
The Ford government decided earlier in the year to delay the traditional March break until April 12 in an effort to discourage gatherings and travel.
According to Lecce the province is planning to increase safety protocols when students and staff return to in-class learning the following week of April 19.
The Toronto District School Board sent a memo to principals Monday advising them to be prepared for the possibility the country’s largest school board would not return to classroom learning after the break.
