Public health officials have been clear COVID-19 vaccines must get to the 111 hot spot neighbourhoods to ensure essential workers and their families are protected.
Ontario Health Teams and hospital mobile clinics and pop-ups will be giving shots to anyone 18 and older in these areas, identified by postal codes.
Starting Friday, Toronto residents 50+ in these neighbourhoods will be able to book appointments at City-run clinics.
On Monday at 11 a.m., the last three City-operated vaccination clinics will open — Cloverdale Mall on The East Mall, North Toronto Memorial Community Centre on Eglinton Avenue West and Carmine Stefano Community Centre on Weston Road.
The city of Toronto says all three of these clinics are nearly fully booked for the first few days of operation.
As of Monday … all nine of the City-run clinics will have a capacity to administer more than 8,000 doses per-day.
Booking, transportation information as well as a link to make your appointment is on www.toronto.ca/covid-19 or by calling the provincial hotline at 1-888-999-6488
