Two City of Toronto employees working at immunization clinics at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC) and Scarborough Town Centre recently tested positive for COVID-19.
Public Health says the risk to the public is extremely low as staff and those who may have come in contact were all wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintained proper distance.
But as a precaution, anyone who attended the clinic at the MTCC between April 2-5 and the one at Scarborough Town Centre from March 31-April 2 should monitor for symptoms for 14 days after their visit.
If symptoms develop, seek testing and immediately self-isolate.
Anyone awaiting test results should remain self-isolated until the results are known.
