Toronto’s High Park will remain open this spring and through cherry blossom season, but people are asked not to flock to the park to see the blooms.

Mayor John Tory says the best viewing spot is from your own home.

“People will be able to watch from home on the blossom camera, the city’s most popular live stream,” said Tory. “200,000 tuned into the blossom camera live stream last year and we’re bringing it back so people can watch the trees 24.7 if they want during the peak bloom.”

The peak bloom period traditionally occurs from late April to early May and once up and running, access the city’s BloomCam here
