Amazon has been selected as one of the first three workplaces that will run vaccination clinics in COVID-19 hot spot neighbourhoods in Peel Region.
Maple Leaf Foods and Maple Lodge Farms have also been chosen to host immunization clinics for their employees.
All three workplaces had outbreaks declared in their facilities, with the most recent one at an Amazon fulfillment centre in Brampton.
Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown told Zoomer Radio’s Fight Back with Libby Znaimer, his city needs to be more of a focus for vaccinations simply because of the higher number of COVID-19.

But when it comes to Premier Ford himself, fewer than a third of Ontarians say they feel Ford is doing a good job of handling the pandemic, while two thirds say he is doing a poor job.
This represents a slight worsening of opinion of Premier Ford over the last two weeks, but a decline of nearly 25 percentage points since November.
