This Sunday is Mother’s Day and Ontarians are being urged to to celebrate virtually again this year.
“This means that if you don’t live with your mother, I’m sitting here once again asking Ontario residents to celebrate Mother’s Day virtually this weekend.”
Associate Medical Officer of Health Dr. Barbara Yaffe was asked if the province will re-open when the stay-at-home order is set to end on May 20th.
“I would be surprised if things open up at the end of May, they may open partially, certainly we don’t want to open prematurely and end up with a fourth wave.”
Ontario hit a new single-day vaccination record with more than 141,000 doses in a single day for the first time.
