People looking to head to a patio for a bite to eat or a drink are now, finally, getting their moment.
Just past midnight today, Ontario entered stage one of the economic reopening. That allows for larger out door gatherings, outdoor fitness classes, outdoor dining, and non-essential retail opening with limits on the number of patrons allowed inside.
The Porcupine Health Unit representing Timmins won’t be reopening just yet. They’ve seen a new surge of COVID-19 cases.
Stage one will be in place for the next three weeks as the province’s assesses any potential impact in cases that comes with the reopening.
All going to plan, the province will move into stage two after that three week period. That allows for even larger gatherings. Businesses like barbers and beauty salons will also be allowed to reopen at that time.
