Public health restrictions are loosening in Ontario’s long-term care homes Wednesday.
Residents can now visit with up to ten people at a time, if they’re outdoors. Indoors, they can meet with up to two essential caregivers and two general visitors.
The new rules also allow personal care services to resume for long-term care residents.
The changes come as cases continue to decline and vaccination rates rise.
Meantime, Ontario is reporting no new deaths related to COVID-19 today and there were 194 new cases. Of those, 42 are in are in Waterloo, 35 in Toronto, 26 in Peel Region, six in Durham Region and three in Halton.
