It began on the morning of September 11th, 1991 when CBS news broke into the network’s normal morning programming to announce that a plane had hit the World Trade Center in Manhattan.
Almost twenty years to the date, you’ll be able to watch a documentary outlining the Bush administration’s version of what happened that day. The film will feature statements from former U.S. President George W. Bush, his Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice and former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
The documentary, “9-11: Inside the President’s War Room” will focus on the 12 hours following the attack and will be narrated by actor Jeff Daniels.
The documentary is a joint production by the BBC and Apple.
