Dolores Claman has died in Spain of complications from dementia.
Claman was working for Maclaren Advertising in Toronto when she was hired to write the theme song for Hockey Night in Canada.
Licensing rights for the beloved track were sold for $1 million 2008 when Claman and her music agency representatives were unable to negotiate a deal.
Dolores Claman was 94.
