The verdict is in.

63-year old Georgia business owner Zach Taylor has been crowned winner of this year’s Ernest Hemingway look-a-like contest in Key West, Florida.

The judges said he looked more like the Pulitzer and Nobel prize winning author than the other 136 entrants.

The contest is held annually at Sloppy Joe’s Bar in Key West; a watering hole that Hemingway frequented in the 1930s and is the highlight of the city’s “Hemingway Days Festival” which returned this year after being a victim of the pandemic last year.

In addition to his international adventures, Hemingway was a reporter for the Toronto Star back in the 1920s.

He died 1961 at the age of 61.
