Toronto’s mayor says for those remaining individuals who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19, the shot has never been more accessible.
John Tory explained Tuesday morning, COVID vaccine clinics are everywhere in the city, “on buses, at the Islington subway station today, outside of different kinds of public buildings, inside apartment lobbies, and so we just need people who are not vaccinated to get vaccinated, and we need you out there who are vaccinated to encourage those who aren’t to please get vaccinated.”
Just over 83-percent of eligible Toronto residents have received one dose of vaccine, while 77-percent are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with two shots.
