She did it again!

Canada’s rising tennis star Leylah Annie Fernandez has beaten another seeded player to advance to the women’s final at the U.S. Open.

19 year old Fernandez won her semifinal match against No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka 7-6, 4-6, 6-4.

The women’s final is Saturday at 4pm.

Fernandez plays another unseeded player, 18-year-old Emma Raducanu of Great Britain.

The 18-year-old from Raducano beat No. 17 seed Maria Sakkari 6-1, 6-4, becoming the first player to come through qualifying to reach a Grand Slam final in the professional era.
