You can expect a ”significant” amount of rain tonight through Wednesday night as Environment Canada’s issued a rainfall warning that stretches from Windsor all the way across and up to North Bay.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast to begin later this evening and continue through at least tomorrow night.
The weather agency expects 50 mm (about 2-inches) to 60 mm (close to 2.4-inches) by early Thursday morning with some localities possibly getting as much as 75 mm (about 3-inches).
The record for rainfall in the Toronto-area on September 22 is 41.9 mm (1.6-inches) set in 1938.
