Buckingham Palace says Queen Elizabeth has been advised to rest for two weeks.

The 95-year-old Monarch is accepting doctors’ advice to cut back on her busy schedule but she’ll continue to undertake light, desk-based duties including some virtual audiences.

While she won’t be travelling to the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday, November 13th, she firmly intends to attend the follow day.

The decision comes just days after Elizabeth cancelled her planned appearance at the U-N climate conference in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Queen was driven to a London hospital on October 20th for unspecified tests but returned to Windsor Castle at the next day and has been taking on light duties since.

The palace said the matter was not related to COVID-19.
