Five city of Toronto vaccination clinics have been transformed to make five-to-11-year-olds feel more comfortable.
Starting tomorrow when they go to the ”Team Toronto Kids” clinics at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Cloverdale Mall, Woodbine Mall, Scarborough Town Centre, and Mitchel Field Community Centre, they’ll get a superhero ”passport,” explaining the four stations they will pass through with custom stickers for each stop.
The children will also have access to superhero selfie stations, colouring sheets and activities.
Over 31,000 appointments of the more than 49,000 available over the next two-and-a-half weeks have already been booked.
School-based mobile clinics are also starting Thursday across Toronto.
Parents, caregivers and students will get clinic information directly from their school when a clinic is available to them.
