Ontario is now sharing data online about school absences amid the Omicron wave.
To access the absenteeism data, visit the government website here.
337 schools had absence rates higher than 30 per cent last Friday, over 111 schools had rates above 50 per cent and about two dozen had rates higher than 80 per cent 21 schools had absence rates higher than 80 per cent.
Data was made available for 3,400 of the province’s roughly 4,800 schools.
Government officials have said that families will be notified once 30 per cent of students and staff are absent.
