Prince Charles is reportedly planning to move into Buckingham Palace when he’s King because it’s the visible symbol of the monarchy.

The Prince of Wales currently resides in Clarence House while the Queen lives in Windsor Castle.

In her Jubilee message over the the weekend, the 95-year-old Queen said she hopes that when her son becomes King, and his wife Camilla becomes Queen, that the British people will support them.

Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence for British monarchs, first used by Queen Victoria in 1837.
