It was on this day February 9th, 1964 when The Beatles played “The Ed Sullivan Show”

A record 73 million people tuned in to watch the band play live for the first time.

It was the largest TV audience ever and considered a milestone in pop culture.

And it was exactly 61 years ago today, February 9th, The Beatles performed for the first time at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, with Pete Best  as the drummer.
