One of the most vocal members of the Ottawa Freedom Convoy livestreamed his arrest Friday on social media.

A police officer approached Pat King’s vehicle and was told he was being arrested for counselling to commit the offence of mischief, counselling to obstruct police and counselling to commit the offence of disobeying a court order.

“I have the right to a lawyer.” King said. The police officer responded: “Of course you do.”

King is the latest high profile convoy organizer to be arrested.

Organizers Chris Barber and Tamara Litch are set to appear in court Friday after being arrested Thursday night.
