As Russia escalates its attacks on Ukraine, the price of gasoline is rising rapidly on the markets, and at the pumps.
Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, told Zoomer Radio’s ”Fight Back” with Libby Znaimer, regular will cost 2-cents-a-litre more tomorrow, and, unless something dramatic should happen, another 6-cents Thursday.
Even more if you rely on diesel.
”It’s up 5-cents tomorrow (Wednesday) and up another 7-cents a least on Thursday,” McTeague told ”Fight Back.”
“You got a keep an eye on diesel because that’s the one that drives your infrastructure, that’s the stuff that trucks use to transport your food.
So, if you’re concerned about grocery prices, fasten your seatbelts, it’s about to get a whole lot worse.”
McTeague warns we could be in for ”several weeks of very high prices.”
