He’s sold more than 100 million records world wide and now he’s joining the likes of Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springstreen in selling the rights to his life’s work.
Neil Diamond’s music has been acquired by Universal Music Group. The package includes his entire song catalogue and recordings, including 110 tracks that were never released.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
The 81-year old’s life and times are being celebrated in new stage production called “The Neil Diamond Musical: A Beautiful Noise.” It opens in Boston in June before heading to Broadway.
