It’s day 7 of Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine, as the people of Ukraine remain steadfast in their resolve to fight for their sovereign nation.
According to a new poll by the Rating group, 88 percent of Ukrainians believe Ukraine will successfully fight off the Russian military.
And they are firmly behind their president, with 93 percent saying they support Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Canadians are firmly behind the people of Ukraine.
A just released Maru Public Opinion poll finds Canadians in near unanimity (91 percent) standing with Ukraine and fully opposed to Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
In Washington, U.S. President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address focused on backing Ukraine against Vladimir Putin.
Biden announced the U.S. is following Canada and the European Union in banning Russian planes from American airspace and going after Russian oligarchs.
The U.S. president also outlined plans to address inflation by reinvesting in American manufacturing capacity, speeding up supply chains and reducing the burden of childcare and eldercare on workers.
