It was March 24th, 1972 when we were introduced to Don Vito Corleone with the release of “The Godfather.”
50-years ago today, Francis Ford Coppola’s cinematic masterpiece premiered in Canada.
It’s widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time.
It focused on a powerful Italian-American crime family and went on to win three Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Actor for star Marlon Brando.
