A former federal Labour Minister is being remembered for an unrelenting commitment to community activism.
Claudette Bradshaw has died.
She passed away over the weekend in Montcton, New Brunswick from cancer.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau issued a statement praising Bradshaw for dedicating so much of her life to helping others.
Claudette Bradshaw served in parliament from 1997 until 2006 and in the cabinets of Prime Ministers Paul Martin and Jean Chretien.
She was 72.
