All five City of Toronto golf courses will open Friday.
More than 195,000 rounds were played at Dentonia Park, Don Valley, Humber Valley, Scarlett Woods and Tam O’Shanter last year.
Tee times will begin at 7 a.m. and end at dusk, staggered 10-minutes apart through the day.
As daylight hours become longer, tee times will also be adjusted to allow for dawn to dusk play.
At Humber Valley, an accessible golf cart is available free to golfers with mobility needs.
FlingGolf will also be available at four City golf courses (not available at Don Valley).
Combining elements of golf and lacrosse, it’s played with a FlingStick (rentals available) and players hurl or fling a golf ball and is designed to help introduce new players to golf while providing a challenge for experienced golfers.
