Washington is slapping more sanctions on Moscow in retaliation for what the Biden administration calls the ”war crimes” in Ukraine by cutting President Vladimir Putin’s two adult daughters, Mariya Vorontsova and Katerina Tikhonova, off from the U.S. financial system and freezing any assets they hold in America.

The U.S is also imposing harsher penalties against Russian banks, Sberbank and Alfa Bank, prohibiting assets from touching the American financial system and barring Americans from doing business with either institution.
The U.S. is also going to spend another $100-million to provide Ukraine with Javelin missiles.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that means Ukrainian troops will soon have 10 anti-tank weapons for every Russian tank in their country.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Mariupol has put the number of civilians killed there at over 5,000.
