Here’s another sign that we’re in the thick of a 6th COVID-19 wave.
The Boston Symphony Orchestra has cancelled its European tour because of an increase in COVID cases among orchestra members and concerns over rising cases on both sides of the Atlantic.
The B-S-O says despite health and safety protocols, there have been 31 cases among onstage musicians following recent performances.
The Orchestra was scheduled to make tour stops in Europe next month during a Strauss-focused tour.
