The field is set in the race to see who will take over from Erin O’Toole as leader of the federal Conservatives.

The six candidates are Pierre Poilievre, Jean Charest, Leslyn Lewis, Scott Aitchison, Roman Baber and Patrick Brown.

Each has submitted the $200,000 entry fee, a refundable $100,000 compliance deposits and the signatures of 500 party members.

The candidates are expected to take part in a pair of debates later this month in Edmonton and Laval.

Some will also be at a conference in Ottawa later this week.

Conservative party members will vote using a mail-in ballot that will go out later this summer.

The new leader will be announced September 10.
